In 1983, Robert Arthur founded Arthur Machinery, Inc. in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Bob sold the company and opened the Tampa office in 1997 and formed Arthur Machinery, LLC, also known as Arthur Machinery-Florida.
With over 40 yrs machine tool experience, starting with a Tool & Die apprenticeship, Bob is a hands-on manager. Bob spent 15 yrs as a salesman for a local dealer, where he was promoted to Sales Manager. Arthur Machinery’s focus is the Illinois, Florida and Puerto Rico markets.
With a national reputation for representing top machine tool builders, Arthur Machinery offers chip making, fabricating, & EDM equipment.
Arthur Machinery & their Used Equipment Partners have assisted many customers with liquidating their surplus equipment. Primary market focus for Arthur is Illinois, Florida, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic & Costa Rica.
