In 1983, Robert Arthur founded Arthur Machinery, Inc. in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Bob sold the company and opened the Tampa office in 1997 and formed Arthur Machinery, LLC, also known as Arthur Machinery-Florida.
With over 40 yrs machine tool experience, starting with a Tool & Die apprenticeship, Bob is a hands-on manager. Previously Bob spent 15 yrs as a salesman for a local dealer and was responsible for introducing Japanese Machine Tools to the Illinois market.
With a national reputation for representing top machine tool builders, Arthur Machinery offers chip making, fabricating, CNC Routers & EDM equipment.
Bob has had the privilege of visiting many Machine Tool Builders in Japan, Korea & Phillipines,
Arthur Machinery & their Used Equipment Partners have assisted many customers with liquidating their surplus equipment.
